The first-ever Philippine National Cinema Day will take place on Saturday, September 12. More than 100 locations across the country will participate in this special day, where regular tickets will be priced at ₱100. Specialty cinemas are also offering discounted tickets for their screenings on the day. IMAX, in particular, will offer limited screenings for Project Hail Mary and The Odyssey for only ₱500.
The lineup for this year’s edition includes classics such as Himala and Four Sisters and a Wedding; recent hits such as Final Destionation: Bloodlines and Obsession (both in select locations); new local films such as Poon and Life After You; and megahits such as Insidious: Out of the Further and Spider-Man: Brand New Day.
Advance ticket sales are now available at some locations, including SM Cinema, Ayala Malls Cinemas, Red Carpet, and Megaworld Cinemas.
