Insidious has done it again, surpassing the records of The Conjuring: Last Rites and Insidious: The Red Door for the highest-grossing opening day for a horror movie in the country, with ₱51.7 million. Just like in 2023, Filipinos also flocked to midnight screenings of the latest Insidious entry, with multiple sold-out shows reported across the country.
Despite the rainy weather across Luzon, SM North EDSA and SM Megamall continued to assert their dominance as the top-grossing locations. Interestingly, more provincial malls made the cut, with two locations from Mindanao (SM CDO Downtown and Centrio Mall) reaching the top ten.
