Vice Ganda, Vic Sotto, Maricel Soriano, Dennis Trillo, & Aga Muhlach lead the first four entries of MMFF 2026

It's that time of the year again.

The 52nd Metro Manila Film Festival has officially announced the first four entries for its upcoming edition, featuring familiar names and a diverse mix of genres for Filipinos to enjoy this Christmas.

Here are the announced entries:

2nd Miracle in Cell No. 7
By Dir. Nuel Crisostomo Naval
Cast: Aga Muhlach, Xia Vigor

Amir
By Dir. Zig Dulay
Cast: Dennis Trillo, Will Ashley, Glaiza De Castro

Haunted Carnival
By Dir. Joey De Guzman
Cast: Julia Barretto, Fyang Smith, Maricel Soriano, James Reid, John Arcilla, RK Bagatsing, Ronnie Alonte

The Greatest Showdown
By Dir. Jun Robles Lana
Cast: Vice Ganda, Vic Sotto

Tickets for all official entries in the upcoming festival will be capped at ₱299 in all cinemas. Producers may also opt to further reduce ticket prices, particularly in the provinces. It is yet to be clarified whether specialty cinemas will be included in the festival.
