It may sound like a broken record, but Filipinos will always check out a new horror flick. This time, it’s Isolated’s turn.
The Benedict Mique-directed horror starring Yassi Pressman and Joel Torre debuted on Netflix with 1.2 million views during the week of August 11-17, 2025. The opening is line with recent local horror pics that premiered on the streaming service, including Lilim (1.1 million) and Untold (1.4 million). The film was also able to place in the top ten most-watched films during the week in seven other markets: Bangladesh, Indonesia, Maldives, Malaysia, Nigeria, Singapore, and Vietnam.
While the opening numbers weren’t enough to take the top spot away from Netflix’s massive sensation KPop Demon Hunters, the film can still boast that it placed fifth on the global non-English chart during the tracking week.
In the film, Rose (Pressman) is forced to take care of Peter (Torre), a dementia patient, to earn more funds for herself. She soon starts having eerie visions of someone watching her.
