Warner Bros. Philippines has officially announced that Christopher Nolan's sci-fi epic Interstellar is coming back to the biggest screens in the Philippines for its 10th anniversary.

The 2014 hit will be re-released exclusively on IMAX at SM Cinemas beginning January 15. It was also re-released in the United States last year to massive success.
In the film, when Earth becomes uninhabitable in the future, a farmer and ex-NASA pilot, Joseph Cooper (played by Matthew McConaughey), is tasked to pilot a spacecraft, along with a team of researchers, to find a new planet for humans.

The film was a massive success back in 2014, grossing over $680 million worldwide which was followed by re-releases in 2020 and 2024 which lifted its total now up to over $740 million.
