As you may have already heard there's a new Filipino Netflix original film last week, and so was the entire world. Zombie horror Outside topped Philippine movie chart and received 8.1 million views (19 million hours viewed) globally on the service. Take note that only four days of its availability were included in the tracking week (October 14-20, 2024).

Among the non-English titles this week, Outside placed fourth, ranking only behind films including Justice, The Shadow Strays, and Uprising. The film was also able to place in the top ten charts of 45 countries in the world, notably in big countries such as Brazil, Italy, Spain, Indonesia, & Mexico.

To show how strong this opening was, the film already surpassed the viewership received by films such as A Journey (6.9 million) and Rewind (5.2 million) for the whole second half of 2024 on the streaming service.
In the film, a family flees to an isolated farm to get away from a zombie outbreak, but old secrets eventually surface and become a greater threat. Check out our review of the film where we described it as "compelling."
That Kind of Love also managed to stay on the chart on its second week, placing fourth on the movie chart. In the film, Mila (Barbie Forteza), a dating coach helps Adam (David Licauco) search for a special someone but happens when she falls for him instead.

Over at TV, the ABS-CBN original series Lavender Fields dropped to #2 on the chart. The series stars Jodi Sta. Maria, Janine Gutierrez, Jericho Rosales, Jolina Magdangal, Maricel Soriano, Albert Martinez, & Edu Manzano.
Meanwhile, GMA-series Pulang Araw continued to place on the charts for its 13th consecutive week. For this week, it's able to get the 9th place on the overall TV chart.
In the global movie chart, Netflix original Lonely Planet rises to #1 with 13.7 million views. Anna Kendrick's thriller Woman of the Hour debuted at #2 with 9.9 million views. Over at TV, the fourth season of Outer Banks continued to dominate the list with 8.8 million views.
