For the week of September 9-15, 2024 the Thai drama debuts at #1 in Netflix Philippines. The film is currently the highest grossing Thai movie of 2024. It also broke records in several countries around the world for a Thai film.
Directed by Pat Boonnitipat, How To Make Millions Before Grandma Dies stars Putthipong "Billkin" Assaratanakul and Usha "Taew" Seamkhum. In the film, In the film, M (Billkin), a university dropout low on money and luck, volunteers to take care of his terminally ill grandmother Mengju (Taew), in the hope of pocketing an inheritance. Globally, the film received 3 million views - placing 4th on the Non-English film chart. This is despite only playing for a few days during the tracking week.

Ensemble youth drama Fruitcake also debuts on the chart at #7. Directed by Joel Ferrer ('Elise'), film stars Joshua Garcia, Enchong Dee, Ria Atayde, Heaven Peralejo, Jane Oineza, Dominic Ochoa, KD Estrada, Queenay Mercado, Alex Diaz & more.
Vice Ganda also returned to the charts with the 2019 hit The Mall, The Merrier, placing at #9. Directed by Barry Gonzales, the film co-stars fellow It's Showtime host Anne Curtis.
