Netflix has released its engagement report for the first half of 2026, and some Filipino titles in familiar genres once again made strong showings on the platform.
In the movie section, Star Cinema's blockbuster hit Meet, Greet & Bye topped the list with 4.8 million views (8.7 million hours viewed). The Cathy Garcia-Sampana directed drama opened with 2 million views back in February. In the film, a mom who loves K-dramas quits chemo, having lost hope. Her last wish is meeting her favorite K-drama star visiting Manila. Her four kids promise to help if she returns to treatment afterward.
Netflix Original 18th Rose from Dolly Dulu secured the second spot, garnering over 4.4 million views since it premiered on the service last April. The coming-of-age romantic drama, starring Xyriel Manabat in her first lead role, debuted with 1.7 million views on Netflix and ranked 7th on Global Non-English Chart during its tracking week.
With no recent big local horror films premiering, dramedy-leaning titles made up much of the top 10. Films such as Everyone Knows Every Juan (2.4 million views) and The Last Beergin (2.2 million views) also posted strong performances during the first half of the year.
2026's current top-grossing local film, The Loved One, also made the list of most-watched titles despite only premiering last May. The Irene Emma Villamor-directed film, starring Anne Curtis and Jericho Rosales, has already been viewed 2 million times on the service.
Also making the list was the RC Delos Reyes-directed family drama The Lotto Winner, which received 1.9 million views despite also premiering only last May.
Carlo Ledesma's Outside continues to make waves globally nearly two years after premiering on the service. The post-apocalyptic horror drama, led by Sid Lucero and Beauty Gonzales, added another 1.2 million views during the period. Vice Ganda also remained on the charts thanks to And The Breadwinner Is..., which garnered an additional 1.2 million views, further boosting its already impressive total.
