Three Filipino films entered Netflix's most-watched movie chart last week (March 9-15, 2026). Interestingly, each film was of different genre.

iWant Original Movie Wild Little Love, starring Andrea Brillantes and Seth Fedelin, was the top local opener this week, placing at sixth place. In this film, popular and pretty Sam (Brillantes) is known as the rich, wild child of Rosehill Academy who pulls one prank after another and bullies her peers. Her dad strips her of her privileges to teach her a lesson.
However, the top local film this week was actually Salvageland which placed third. The Lino Cayetano-directed thriller starring Richard Gomez and Elijah Canlas debuted in second place last week on the popular streaming service.
In the film, in a fictional town near Metro Manila against the volcanic landscape of Mount Pinatubo, a veteran police officer and his rookie son must defend their station when a crime syndicate target seeks sanctuary with them. The scenario forces the family duo into a violent confrontation that will challenge their relationship and survival skills.
On its fourth week, the Cathy Garcia-Sampana family drama Meet, Greet, & Bye placed fifth. In the film, the Facundo family's lives are upended when they discover their mother's cancer has returned. The four children work together to make her final wish come true.
Other newcomers this week in the top ten include Kung Fu Panda 4, Fish, Fists and Ambergris, Shark Tale, and Heat Wave.
