Those who may have missed watching some entries from last year's Metro Manila Film Festival (MMFF) now have a chance to see them via streaming. Several MMFF films have now appeared on Netflix, each with its respective release date.

Compared to last year, the arrival of MMFF 2024 films on streaming has been slightly delayed. Star Cinema's mega-blockbuster hit Rewind arrived on the streaming service on March 25 which is exactly 90 days after its theatrical premiere. This time, fellow Star Cinema film And The Breadwinner Is... has yet to receive a Netflix release date.
Theatrical window, or the period during which a film is shown exclusively in cinemas before becoming available on other platforms, has been a hot topic during this year's CinemaCon in the United States due to its effect on the potential box office performance of certain films. During 2024, international box office amassed $21 billion, which is down 10% from 2023.
