MMFF 2024's highest grossing film is finally coming to Netflix. Jun Lana's And The Breadwinner Is... arrives on the streaming service this June 12.

The film received a positive review from CBO as it "trusts its audience to absorb the message. This is Vice Ganda at her best—someone who now not only brings joy but also delivers lessons and necessary melancholy."
It is interesting to note that the release on the streaming platform did not follow the usual 90-day window that has been observed with Star Cinema features after the pandemic. Even Hello, Love, Again, the country's top grossing local film of all time, still followed this release strategy back in February. Breadwinner will be available to stream on Netflix more than five months since its theatrical debut.
